Reprop – Your practical travel enema
Constipation can occur during travel due to climate, time change or altered eating habits. It is often difficult to quickly reach a pharmacy or doctor.
With Reprop, you always have the solution with you. Thanks to the practical and discreet storage bag, you can easily take your enema with you anywhere.

Safe enema at home and while traveling
The Reprop enema is available in two versions with different irrigators as Basic/Plus and Comfort versions (compare enemas). Both irrigators are also available as a set with a bag. Reprop is the ideal travel enema. Simply fill with water at the holiday resort if you want to perform an enema.
Instructions for Use of the Reprop Enema
Preparation
Wash your hands before performing the enema. If needed, have gloves, lubricant, a waterproof protective pad, and a waste container ready.
Enema with water
Fill the bottle with body-temperature clean tap water. For colon cleansing, you may add enema additives to the water, such as glycerol for hardened stools or Glauber’s salt in cases of sluggish bowel activity and severe constipation.
Prevent leakage
A tube clamp is included but not strictly necessary. It is mainly intended for clinical use. This allows you to fill the liquid container with water, close the tube clamp, and then carry it to the patient without water leaking out.

Application while sitting
Sit comfortably on the toilet or lie relaxed on your back, then gently insert the moistened rectal tube a few centimeters. Attach the funnel of the rectal tube to the non-return valve.
Turn the bottle upside down and pump the water into the rectum by manually squeezing the bottle. By holding the bottle up, the water will also flow into the rectum on its own, using hydrostatic pressure, without pumping. Then remove the rectal tube and empty the bowel. Repeat the process if necessary.
Application while lying down
Turn the bottle upside down and pump the water into the rectum by manually squeezing the bottle. By holding the bottle up, the water will also flow into the rectum on its own, using hydrostatic pressure, without pumping. Then remove the rectal tube and empty the bowel. Repeat the process if necessary.
Enema with assistance from a caregiver
Have the enema administered.
For caregivers administering the enema:
The patient should lie on their left side with knees drawn up. Carefully insert the rectal tube. Turn the bottle upside down and let the water flow into the rectum. The fluid intake can be interrupted using the clamp. Assist the patient with evacuation if necessary.
Recommendation for enema cleaning and reuse
For hygienic reasons, we recommend using the device exclusively for personal use. The device components – bottle with screw cap and non-return valve with extension tube – should be cleaned with soap after use. The rectal tube and the irrigator with olive tip are intended for single use. Reuse is at the discretion of the user.
Storage instructions: Store components dry and protected from dust.
